Marksmanship hunters gear and stats are should be based around the following three main stats: Attack power, Crit and Armor penetration. However, Marksmanship hunters are very gear dependant and this is why the build should only be picked up when your gear is at the appropriate level.

A Survival hunter is somewhat easier to play and less gear dependant than a Marksmanship hunter. The Survival hunter’s damage comes mostly from Explosive shot, which does fire damage instead of physical damage. The Armor penetration will affect a much smaller portion of your damage than it does for a Marksmanship hunter.

Attack power, crit and haste rating are the main stats for this spec. 0/18/53 is the most common Survival Hunter spec.
